Boxing. I don't get it. I don't get it as an activity or a spectacle. It's just barbaric, right?

I wouldn't mind having a little extra cash, but there are things and people I would not do for a million dollars.
It must be a man thing. My father-in-law writes down a score on each round as if he was a judge. He likes to see how close he can get to actual scores. I agree that watching guys beat each other up is barbaric. However, I would rather watch boxing than pro wrestling or Ultimate Fighting.
